Jerry is a highly experienced leader in the field of organisation and people development having worked across public and private sectors both in the UK and internationally. During a career spanning 35 years, he has led numerous large scale change programmes and worked at board level in a variety of organisations. His pragmatic approach, coupled with strategic awareness and a keen customer focus, has enabled him to deliver real value to many. Jerry brings a deep appreciation of the business environment and the key challenges faced by those in leadership positions. His experience, drawn from many organisations, including running his own business, has given him a full appreciation of how individuals and organisations can fulfil their ambition.

In his last corporate role with the UK Civil Service, Jerry strengthened his experience and reputation as one of the UK's leading thought leaders and practitioners in the field of learning and development (L&D). As Director of Civil Service Learning, he led one of the most complex and large scale L&D transformations ever undertaken in the UK. Having retired from the Civil Service, Jerry has now resumed his consulting, COACHING AND MENTORING practice with the ambition of helping others facing significant leadership challenges within their own organisations.

Jerry's career has taken him across a number of sectors including public, financial, telecommunications, utility, automotive and leisure. His recent public sector experience with the UK Civil Service (2007-14) was preceded by 5 years running his own business where he consulted with Transport for London, BT, Lloyds TSB, Nissan and Canon. Prior to setting up Origin Consulting, Jerry spent 25 years in the private sector where he held senior roles with National Grid, Cable and Wireless, National Australia Group and Black Horse Financial Services. Early career experience included 5 years in the USA with Lex Service and roles with Granada.

Jerry holds a BSc in Behavioural Science from Aston and a MA in Management Learning from Lancaster. He is also a qualified Executive Coach.
