I have been coaching executives and business leaders for more than 20 years. My coaching clients tend to have a background in central or local government, financial services (including banking, insurance, actuarial services, micro-finance), international humanitarian development services, civil society organisations or charitable organisations. Sometimes they are planning their own transition from one of these sectors to another. I have significant experience coaching educationalists and senior managers within the UK's NHS and other health services internationally.

My coaching methodology is highly informed by cognitive behavioural thinking and practice.

I have worked with clients including Aon, Bacon & Woodrow, Jubilee+,The CHS Alliance, Vision Fund International, World Vision International, Impactpool, the UN, numerous INGOs, UK and international governments and in partnership with Development Decisions International, Cranfield and Ashridge Business Schools. A great deal of my work is with global organisations and I am entirely flexible about coaching session hours and communication methodologies.

I was formerly Global Practice Leader at World Vision International where I pioneered the global leader orientation, talent and succession management and education processes, leadership assessment and leadership coaching services. Previously, as Global Consulting Development Leader for Hewitt Associates (now Aon) I led the global consulting focused Hewitt University and European organisational development consulting practice.

I recently co-designed the coaching and mentoring education programme for the global Humanitarian Leadership Academy.

I have an MSc in Management Development; post-graduate Diplomas in Management and Career Guidance; hold a Certificate in (Cognitive Behavioural) Coaching and I am an accredited and experienced MBTI, Life Styles Inventory and Insights Discovery practitioner. I have considerable international work and coaching experience gained particularly in Africa, Europe, Asia and North America.
