I am a highly skilled executive coach who enjoys working with individuals 1:1 at all levels of organisations and from all backgrounds, professions and sectors in career progression and leadership development. I have a deep interest in development and wellbeing of individuals in the workplace and how they embrace their uniqueness and authenticity, strengths and potential to thrive in their careers and achieve their goals. This is enhanced by wealth of experience in human resource development/OD for more than 25 years up to director level in NHS strategic health authorities (Chartered Fellow CIPD). Started in retail sector. Background also includes service redesign and commissioning healthcare, working with boards and CEOs.

Typically coach:

Rising stars at all levels of organisations aspiring in their careers but maybe facing challenges. Everybody is a rising star!

Team leaders at the frontline of service delivery and those leading organisational change programmes.

Clinical leaders in all NHS sectors.

Experience - examples:

Associate - various companies, freelance, self-employed.

NHS - coach clinicians aspiring to senior management and board level roles. Have coached widely from NHS England, Integrated Care Boards, hospitals and GP Practices. Coached frontline leaders during the pandemic and newly qualified GPs on a leadership development programme.

Charities - have coached and mentored for McPin Foundation (mental health research), featured in organisation's wellbeing week podcast (2023), SHELTER and Save the Children International.

Ethnic Minorities - have coached internationally recruited healthcare professionals.

Private Sector - have coached for Costa Coffee, Network Rail and from finance - asset management and accounting.

CIPD/pro bono - have mentored parent returners and previously, undergraduates at Greenwich University on employment preparation.

If you choose to work with me, you get a coach who is interested in you as a unique individual, somebody who will help you better appreciate your own value, strengths and skills that you have to offer in the workplace. I will help you work out how best to use these to better manage yourself, your wellbeing and happiness at work. I am genuine, non-judgemental, approachable, collaborative, friendly and above all, somebody who will listen to you fully and help you figure out what will work best for you. If you are seeking a new job, I will also help you strengthen and better articulate your skills. My energy comes from seeing people become more aware of their inner resources, and increasing confidence and self-belief to flourish in their careers.

Central to my coaching is positive psychology and its strengths-base - what you do best/what energises you/what you enjoy, authenticity, resilience and wellbeing. On one's strengths, as my favourite quote from the tennis champion Roger Federer goes, 'if you are good at something, make it everything'. Secondly, emotional intelligence - management of own and others' emotional and social skills positively in day-to-day work life, wellbeing and leadership.

You're most welcome for a free half-hour chat to find out more about my service.
