Who We Are

The Coaching & Mentoring Network ('The Network') was established in 1999 to provide a predominantly web-based service both for people who perform and / or receive coaching or mentoring, as well as the broader community interested in this area. The primary activity of the Coaching & Mentoring Network is to provide a free and independent information resource dedicated to supporting this community. Financially, the business aims to turnover sufficient to cover costs and reinvest in the service without intention to make a profit.

To this end we are an all-inclusive community portal and resource centre for information and services relating to all aspects of coaching and mentoring.

The Coaching & Mentoring Network does not offer personal advice or recommendations nor are we seeking to become or drive the formation of a professional body. We see our role as commentators and myth-busters, providing factual and best practice information to assist individuals and organisations in making their own decisions.

The Network is currently funded in the following ways: private funding (both money and time) by the directors, online referral registrations and the supply of hosted referral database services. This funding supports the provision of all the free services.

The Network is owned equally by three directors: Anna Britnor Guest, Pauline Willis and Martin Richards. The company was incorporated in England and Wales as a Limited company in March 1999 and the website was launched in June 1999.

What we do

Coach Matching Services

At the core of the Network is a database of professional coaches and mentors which allows coaching requirements to be matched to coaches and mentors with the relevant skills. The Network provides a level playing field for coaches and mentors and allows the client to identify the right professional for their needs.

Coaches and mentors placing their details on the database pay an annual subscription. Unlike a traditional network consultancy practice, the Network does not control the work of the coach or take a fee for work introduced through the website.
